Service Description
Ideal for those needing manual lymphatic drainage treatment during recovery from any surgery/procedure, as well as slightly deeper modalities to reduce scar tissue formation/fibrosis, appropriate for their healing stage. Incorporates Vodder-style manual lymphatic drainage for general swelling reduction in every session. Manual lymphatic drainage treatment is a VERY GENTLE and rhythmic method that encourages the natural movement of lymph fluids throughout the body. Other modalities and techniques, such as, contouring massage strokes, decompression therapy (cupping), kinesiology taping, vibration, and friction techniques may be utilized at later stages of recovery (after 2 weeks post-op), at the discretion of the therapist. Prior to the 2 week mark, only MLD will be provided. INCISIONAL DRAINAGE WILL NOT BE PERFORMED. *Only for those recovering from recent surgery (within the past year). If this does not apply to you, please book THE REDIRECTION. After booking is approved, an invoice for payment will be emailed to you. Payment must be made within 4 hours of receipt or appointment will be canceled. Additional travel fee will apply for locations greater than 30 miles from 60438.
Cancellation Policy
Please contact me via text or use the booking site if you need to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time. All late schedule cancellations or reschedules, up to an hour before appointment time, will result in a non-negotiable charge of $25. There will be a 50% charge for cancellations within 1 hour of appointment. These payments will not be applied to a future session. Late rescheduled appointments will require a prepayment of balance. NO CALL, NO SHOWS, will be charged a non-negotiable rate of 100% of service total. This payment will not be applied to a future session. This must be paid in order to book future sessions. Any subsequent sessions booked without paying this fee will be canceled and deposit will be applied to outstanding balance. Booking privileges will be revoked after 2 no call, no shows. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early as all appointments will end at scheduled time, regardless of time of arrival. If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible. If I do not hear from you after 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, your session will be canceled, and you will be considered a no call, no show. All return clients are required to have a card on file.
